This Saturday we will be competing at Orange County Championships at Irvine Park. Because all 70+ county schools attend this meet it will be much more crowded than what you experienced at the six-team cluster meet last Thursday. This information is meant to help you avoid any unpleasant situations. First, athletes need to arrive very early: Boys Frosh and Girls Frosh/Soph need to be at our camp by 7:00AM. All other athletes need to arrive by 8:00AM. Athletes who arrive late will NOT run, so there is no need to drop them off if they arrive late. We will set up camp in the same vicinity as the cluster meet. At Woodbridge, several athletes were nearly an hour late, which puts coaches in the position of wondering if we will have a full team etc. That is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

    Traffic will be horrible if you arrive after 6:30AM, so be prepared to jog into the park if the line of the cars stretches out to Chapman. Also, parents who drive into the park need to bring $5 (exact change) for parking. There is a shuttle at Santiago Canyon College but make sure to leave a lot of extra time, regardless of whether you drive into the park or take the shuttle. The best way to avoid these potential issues is to arrive no later than 6:30AM. That way you wlll be certain that you will make it to our site by 8:00AM.  We have big goals for this very important meet and hope to see you there!  The tentative meet schedule is as follows:
