COACH'S WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

“The voice inside your head that says you can’t do this is a liar.”

This past week was a tough week with the increased weather temperatures.  All sports and high schools are struggling with the hot weather.  Luckily we were still able to get in a few runs.  We also had a few of our seniors race on Saturday at the Pat Hadley Invite. Major Shout OUT to Logan Shaw who was the number 1 overall fastest boy runner at the race!  Sure glad he is a TWOLF!

Our first invitational race of the season will be Saturday at the Laguna Hills Invite.  A schedule is posted along with times athletes should arrive and race. Athletes are to provide their own transportation to the race.  Most of our runners will compete in their very first ever HS XC invite race this Saturday.  It will be very exciting and us coaches are eager to get the season underway.  Although we are not in tip-top race shape; this early season race will give everyone some experience and some insight into their fitness level.  Looking forward to seeing our Timberwolf Families at the first invite race!

LOOKS LIKE THE HOT WEATHER WILL CONTINUE MON/TUES SO WE WILL HAVE PRACTICE IN THE EVENING AT 6PM FOR COOLER TEMPS.

Have a great week!
